Faculty and Students have been excluded from the University Funding Review

Ontario is finalizing its university funding review, but faculty and students were shut out. With a growing funding crisis and rising demand for university spaces, the province can’t afford to ignore those who know the system best. OCUFA urges real engagement and sustained investment to protect Ontario’s universities and future economy.

Nominations and applications are now open to recognize outstanding contributions in Collective Bargaining; Equity and Social Justice; Service; Teaching and Academic Librarianship; Excellence in the Social Sciences, Humanities, or Arts; and Higher Education Journalism. These awards honor individuals whose work has made a meaningful impact in their fields and communities.
